Roger Teagle is an experienced manufacturing engineer and ERP specialist whose career has been defined by helping businesses bridge the gap between shop-floor realities and digital innovation. With a foundation in manufacturing engineering, Roger began his career in production management, gaining first-hand insight into the challenges of efficiency, quality, and cost control. That grounding gave him a rare perspective: he understood not only how things are made, but also how processes could be improved through better systems and data.
This early experience naturally led him into the world of enterprise solutions. Before long, Roger was working with data capture and ERP technologies, where he saw the transformative potential of linking information directly to manufacturing processes. He recognised that successful ERP wasn’t just about software—it was about empowering people on the shop floor with the right tools to make better, faster decisions.
In 2008, Roger co-founded Cedar Bay, taking on the role of CEO. His vision was clear: to create a company that combined deep manufacturing knowledge with cutting-edge ERP systems, enabling customers to get the very best results from their technology investments. Starting with data capture solutions for IFS ERP, Cedar Bay quickly earned a reputation for practical, results-oriented implementations that reduced errors, streamlined operations, and delivered measurable returns.
Under Roger’s leadership, Cedar Bay has grown into a trusted ERP partner with a global footprint. The company’s solutions extend across manufacturing, distribution, and services, always with a focus on tailoring technology to real business needs. Roger has been instrumental in developing CB Apps, a suite of award-winning tools that extend IFS capabilities and deliver intuitive, shop-floor-friendly solutions. Recognising the growing demand for flexible, cloud-based systems, Roger led Cedar Bay to become an Acumatica partner. This strategic step broadened the company’s offering, enabling mid-sized businesses to access modern, scalable ERP without the overhead of traditional deployments. Roger’s approach to Acumatica implementations reflects his philosophy: start with the customer’s processes, focus on what adds value, and build systems that support long-term growth.
